Church of San Pedro - The Martyred Saints
The remains of San Víctor and San
Fructuoso lie in the Baroque side altars. Both altarpieces are made in Flanders pine, the work
being carried out in 1693.
A figure of San José graces the altar of the Epistle, whilst the altar
of the Evangel bears a figure of Our Lady, La Inmaculada, exhibited in the 1929 Hispano-American
Exhibition in Seville.
The bodies of the martyrs came from Rome in 1769 and repose in glass
cases, wrapped in a silver mesh with garlands of small flowers around their heads.
